The winning secret to casino gambling systems is not really a secret at all. It’s something that everyone possesses in varying degrees but is in short supply to the majority of casino gamblers.
You see, there are more than enough very capable systems for consistently winning at most casino table games as I’ve demonstrated many times.
In Roulette there are at least a dozen or more systems which gives the player the ability to consistently win 6 or 7 out of ten sessions of play (which is an excellent win ratio). In addition, there are considerably more than that many betting strategies that are very reliable performers when combined with these methods of play.
Many of these betting systems that can be applied to the low percentage game of Baccarat that will move the odds of winning to the player’s side providing they are sufficiently capitalized.
I’ve even outlined specific, step by step details of systems for playing Craps and Blackjack that perform as well or better for these games.
There’s Something Missing
What is it that’s missing? What is it that prevents intelligent players, armed with the very best techniques available, from beating these casino games?
To sum it up in a word…. it would be patience, or more precisely, a lack of patience.
Gamblers are not particularly known for this quality. It is the inherent speed of the games, the pace at which money changes hands and the desire to win as quickly as possible that erodes the player’s patience.
In any game of chance there are times when the house is winning and times when the player is winning. But because of the nature of all gambling games and the odds structure favoring the casino, the majority of play tends to be what is known as "choppy." Chopping is a back and forth between winning and losing decisions that wears down a player’s patience.
If a particular system or method of play does not produce immediate gains it can cause you to doubt the validity of the system you’re using.
When playing a game with a low house percentage it would be unlikely the house edge would be able to beat you quickly. A more common outcome would be that you would experience long periods of "give & take" action, meaning you would win some and lose some.
This would probably not do any significant damage to your bankroll unless you started to become impatient. It is impatience that causes an intelligent player with a strong system, sound betting strategy and an adequate bankroll to make changes to their method of play.
This begins by changing the strategy or increasing the bet size when it’s not appropriate. As a result they start to lose more quickly than they should. As their gambling bankroll begins to dwindle there is more of a sense of desperation. In an attempt to get "even" they move farther and farther away from the valid, calculated playing method they were originally using.
After a period of taking on more and more risk, making larger and larger bets the player succumbs to the house edge and walks away mumbling to themselves about the losing system that failed them. They convince themselves it was the system that failed and not their own inability to adhere to it.
Patience Is A Virtue
The professional (or at least the experienced) gambler knows full well it is unlikely that they will win more decisions than they lose at any game of chance. They know they must be prepared to wait out the normal "choppiness" of any table game they play
The 3 Professional Rules of Casino Gambling
1. The winning player will always make minimum wagers when they are losing and only ever increase their bets after a winning one. When they are winning they will continually increase their wagers to insure that all their winning bets will be substantially greater than their losing ones.
2. The professional player will never play without a plan of action. They will make only those bets that give the casino the lowest house advantage conscientiously avoiding any and all high risk wagers.
3. The professional winning player will never lose their patience always maintaining a cool, level headed composure regardless of the direction the game is taking. This is the surest way to turn the situation around and insure a profit.
The fact that you are reading this means to me that you are interested in being a consistent winning player. To achieve that level of play requires a degree of personal discipline.
This is not to say that you must suck all the fun and enjoyment out of the games you play. By all means have fun doing it. You’ll be having even more fun when you walk away from the table with their money.
The most important ingredient to any winning gambling system is patience.
It is the winning secret to all casino gambling systems.
In any casino game you play, remember that the battle is not between you and the house, the battle is between you and you alone. Wishing you the best of luck always.
